Poumai Naga Union (PNU) has resented the prohibitory order issued by CAO/ caretaker of Shepoumaramth region, GPRN, against holding its general assembly in Thiwa village with warning that PNU executives would hold responsible if meeting was conducted.
However, PNU during its general assembly held in Thiwa village on May 4 had strongly endorsed that if any untoward eventualities arise out of this prohibitory order in near future, the whole tribe would hold responsibility and not the executives of PNU.
This was stated in press release issued by Assembly Affairs speaker PNU, CD Jongeo John, and the Assembly Affairs secretary PNU, PS Shelavei.
