Dimapur, Aug. 7 (EMN): The Poumai Naga Tsiidoumai Me Bangalore (PNTMB) organised its 27th freshers’ meet-cum-rising day under the theme ‘Celebrating culture and identity’ at Parish Hall, All Saints Church, on August 5.
PNTMB in an update informed that the event was graced by CEO of Brand Neurons Pvt Ltd, Leiyachon T Shirik, as the chief guest and PA Veini, H Sapuni Poumachi and Rev. Dr. KH Reihe as guests of honour.
The event was also attended by Poumai students’ union executives from Mumbai and Chennai, NSUB and other sub unit executives, NCF and Mao Christian fellowship pastors, various dignitaries and Poumainah in Bangalore including 55 freshers, it stated.
Highlights of the programme included presidential address by PNTMB president, Veithriene Pao, traditional display and release and declaration of PNTMB Constitution by founding member, PA Veini, special songs by various artists and cultural performances.
Veithinai Rowland from Phaibung Khullen and Standhope J N from Koide were crowned Miss and Mr Fresher PNTMB 2022 respectively, PNTMB informed. Earlier, the event started with invocation by pastor NCF, Bangalore, Nikato Yeptho, it added.
