Phek district to host state badminton championship

Kohima, May 11 (EMN): The Nagaland Badminton Association (NBA) has informed that the Phek District Badminton Association will be hosting the 42nd Inter District and State Open Badminton Championship 2018 at Pfutsero in Phek from July 16 to the 21st (tentatively).
This was decided during a change of guard at the Heritage in Kohima on May 10.
The NBA also will host the North East Inter State & Open Badminton Championship 2018 during October 1-9, according to an update from the association on Friday.
The NBA also handed over charge to a new team of office bearers for the tenure 2018-22 led by L Kire as its president and Dr. Watizulu Süzümeren as senior vice president.
