Dimapur, Sep. 3 (EMN): Phek District Hospital secured the first place in the Kayakalp award for financial year 2020-21 under District Hospital category, while the Dimapur District Hospital and Tuensang District Hospital secured the second and third positions respectively.
The list of award recipients was issued by the mission director of National Health Mission (NHM), Dr. I Talitemsula Jamir, on Friday. It stated that date for award giving ceremony would be intimated at a later date.
Under the District Hospital category, Mon and Kiphire District Hospitals as well as Dr. Imkongliba Memorial district Hospital in Mokokchung were commended. Under the community health centre (CHC) category, CHC Bhandari was placed in the first position, while CHC Changtongya was commended.
Under the primary health centre (PHC) category, PHC Kimipfüphe in Kohima district, PHC Mongsenyimti in Mokokchung district, PHC Wozhuro in Wokha district, PHC Longpang in Tuensang district, PHC Thuvopisu in Phek district, PHC Dungki in Peren district, PHC Yongnyah in Longleng district, PHC Changlangshu in Mon district, PHC Satakha in Zunheboto district and PHC Likhimro in Kiphire district were declared best in the state.
Under the health and wellness centre (HWC), the best HWC-SC were awarded to Longmisa HWC in Mokokchung district, Samzuiram HWC in Peren, Thizama HWC in Kohima district, Phek village HWC in Phek district, Changsu HWC in Wokha district, and Diphupar-B HWC in Dimapur district.
Longkong HWC and Sungratsu HWC from Mokokchung district, Jalukie Zangdi HWC in Peren district, Jotsoma Science College HWC in Kohima district, Mesulumi HWC in Phek district, Pongidong HWC in Wokha district and Naga United HWC in Dimapur district were also commended.
Under the urban primary health centre (UPHC) category, UPHC Mokokchung from Mokochung district, UPHC Seikhazou and UPHC Poterlane from Kohima district, and UPHC Duncan and UPHC Burma camp from Dimapur district were commended.
