DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 11: PEREN Town Baptist Church (PTBC) has won the choir competition at the 16th Children Conference of the Zeme Baptist Church Council (ZBCC) held from October 7-10 at Peren Town Baptist Church on the theme ‘The wisdom of God’ (Proverbs 2:6).
In the choir competition, Jalukie ‘B’ Baptist Church won the second prize and the Zeme Baptist Church, Dimapur, won the third prize, while the Jalukie Town Baptist Church and the Lamhai Dungki Baptist Church jointly won the fourth prize.
Altogether 1707 delegates from different churches under the Zeme Baptist Church Council (ZBCC) attended the Children Conference which was held from October 7 to 10 at Peren Town Baptist Church.
The conference speakers were Rev. Dr. Elungkiebe Zeliang, HOD, Martin Luther Christian University, Shillong; and Zierangbe, Pastor of Zeme Baptist Church, Dimapur.
Izieteilung Terieng, Executive Secretary of ZBCC, Peren, spoke on ‘Christian Home,’ while Rangro Herie, Education and Sunday School Secretary, Peren, spoke on ‘4/14 Window Movement,’ Ms. Iheule Hegeu, youth secretary of ZBCC, Peren, spoke on ‘Relationship,’ and Ms. Itazaile, Sunday School Superintendant of Heningkunglwa Baptist Church, spoke on ‘Christian Music.’
In the talent hunt competitions, Mhainamtsi Baptist Church won the first prize, while Peren Town Baptist Church won the second prize. The third prizes were jointly shared by Jalukie Town Baptist Church and the New Jalukie Baptist Church and the fourth prize was won by Lamhai Dungki Baptist Church.
In the Talent Exhibition, Jalukie Town Baptist Church won the first, while the second place was won by Jalukie ‘B’ Baptist Church, the third place by Heningkunglwa Baptist Church and the fourth place was jointly shared by Zeme Baptist Church, Kohima, and the Mhainamtsi Baptist Church.
