Peren dist. inter-departmental tournament: Social Welfare clinch overall champions’ title

DIMAPUR — The 10th inter-departmental tournament of Peren district concluded at the Indoor Stadium, Jalukie on Saturday, with the Social Welfare department emerging as overall champions.

The closing function was attended by principal of St. Xavier College, Jalukie, Fr. Dr. Francis Cheerangal as the guest of honour, a DIPR report stated. The prizes were given away by Fr. Cheerangal and Deputy Commissioner of Peren, Hiazu Meru.

The closing programme was chaired by EAC Peren Hq, Pauding Disuang, while vote of thanks was proposed by ADC and convenor of organising Committee, Japheth Woch.
