DIMAPUR — The PPC Ward United Youth, Longleng, organised the second edition of its penalty shootout tournament at local ground, Longleng town, on Saturday with PPC ward president, Bathiü OC Bauloi Phom, as the special guest.
In his address, the special guest encouraged the youngsters by saying that they can choose sports as a profession. Phom also stressed the importance of discipline in games and sports, a DIPR report stated.
Tauphen Buchem, PPC Ward United Youth president, in his welcome speech, urged the participating teams to play in true sportsmanship spirit.
The inaugural programme was chaired by Yungmei Phom.
