Mokokchung, October 2
In commemoration of the International Day of Non-violence, 2nd October, the National Service Scheme (NSS) units of Mokokchung district comprising Fazl Ali College, People’s College, Mangyangnokcha Higher Secondary School and Clark Memorial Higher Secondary School organized a peace marathon under the theme “Essence of Non-Violence in our Society” from Police Point to Local Ground.
The Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Shri. Sushil Kumar Patel (IAS) graced the occasion and spoke on the significance of the day and also participated in the marathon. T. Imlitoshi Walling, Principal, People’s College, Mokokchung, gave the welcome address, while the programme was chaired by Assistant Professor Watitoshi A, of Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung.
