Oriental College celebrates Happiness Day at Kohima Orphanage

Dr. Khriereizhiinuo Dziivichii Vasanth and students of Oriental College, along with the children of Kohima Orphanage and Destitute Home, on Wednesday.

DIMAPUR — The Oriental College, Kohima, along with the rest of the world, celebrated the International Day of Happiness on Wednesday at Kohima Orphanage and Destitute Home.

According to a press release, a short programme was held to commemorate the occasion, during which the principal, Dr. Khriereizhiinuo Dziivichii Vasanth, mentioned that the happiest people in the world are those who share their happiness with others.

The principal was accompanied by other teachers, the chaplain, student executives, and class representatives from all semesters during their visit.

The students of Oriental College also presented a song.

The International Day of Happiness is celebrated worldwide on March 20. It was established by the United Nations General Assembly on June 28, 2012.
