1 person arrested with arms in Mokokchung 

Mokokchung Police has arrested one person identified as Amento from Maromi village under Zunheboto district

MOKOKCHUNG — Mokokchung Police has arrested one person identified as Amento from Maromi village under Zunheboto district, allegedly a leacy of Niki Sumi-led NSCN (K), during vehicle checking and frisking near Alichen on June 7.

Police recovered one .32 country made pistol with magazine; one .32 live round cartridge; two .22 round cartridge; one blurred writing pad of leacy supervisor of GPRN Sumi region; working permit of GPRN ministry of kilo affairs (15 nos); signed demand slip of GPRN (4 nos) and one small note pad containing tax rate and other information from his possession.

Police report stated that a case in this connection has been registered with Mokokchung Police Station-II for further investigation.
