RESOLUTION

The Aghunato Area GB’s union representing 56 villages held a general meeting along with the area elders and the Town Council Members Aghunato, on the 28th of April 2015’ at the residence of the Town Council Chairman, who also chaired the proceedings of the meeting. The meeting had an extensive deliberation on the obstructions caused to the undergoing “Longsa-Suruhoto-Aghunato Two Lane Widening of Road under NEC” M/S Singh Construction and Co. and other prior developmental activities undertaken and its impediments, which has recently been troubling the general public of Aghunato, bringing back the memoirs of the erstwhile Sub-Treasury Office, an instance, wherein the office was shut down and transferred to Zunheboto District in the early Nineties on account of armed robbery of its official consignment on the way to Aghunato. Since then, the once salary at doorstep has become an inconvenient monthly trip to Zunheboto, over the past two decades.
Therefore, taking due consideration of the anti-developmental activities and the pathetic infrastructural scenario of Aghunato, the meeting besides multiple power point discussions and resolutions, unanimously came up with a key note resolution to:
“Thwart any anti-developmental activities from any individuals/groups/factions etc.. the General public is bound by the key note resolution for non-cooperation. Any individuals/groups/factions etc.. found non-adherent to the resolution will be doing so at his/their own risk and due course of action shall be taken up deemed fit as laid down in the resolution”
In the interest of the general public of Aghunato and its infra-structural development, this “Key Note Resolution” is unanimously adopted at the Aghunato Area General Meeting, Dated, 28th April 2015’
