Dimapur, Nov. 28 (EMN): The Nagaland Tribes Council (NTC) has mourned the demise of one of its founding members Lungbe Meru, who breathed his last at Dimapur on November 27.
An update from NTC general secretary Nribemo Ngullie has described Meru as an active, sincere and dedicated person committed towards the welfare of the society. It lamented that the void in the NTC created by his death would be difficult to fill in.
NTC further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family and prayed to the Almighty God to grant them courage in their hour of sorrow and grief.
