DIMAPUR — The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has greeted all the teachers on the occasion of Teacher’s Day and expressed profound gratitude to all the educators across the Naga homeland, who have dedicated their lives to the noble profession of teaching.
“Today, we honour not only your profession but also the unwavering commitment, patience and love you pour into shaping the minds and futures of our young people,” the NSF said.
It stated that in the Naga context, education is not merely the transfer of knowledge but also nurturing of character, cultivation of wisdom and preservation of cultural heritage.

It added that the demands of modern education, the rapid changes in technology, and the evolving needs of students require adaptability, innovation and constant learning. Despite those challenges, it stated that teachers continue to rise to the occasion, ensuring that the values of hard work, integrity and respect are instilled in every student under their care.
“As we celebrate Teacher’s Day, we also acknowledge the critical role you play in shaping the future of our Naga homeland. Your dedication lays the foundation for a society rooted in knowledge, compassion, and unity. We are deeply grateful for your service and sacrifice,” it added.
NSF further reiterated its stand with the teachers in their mission to educate, empower and elevate the next generation.
In another statement, the Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) has greeted the teachers for dedicating their lives in shaping the future of the nation.
“Today, we honour the tireless efforts of our educators who have been instrumental in laying the foundation for students’ intellectual, emotional and ethical growth. We acknowledge the profound impact they have on their lives, inspiring them to reach full potential, fostering creativity and nurturing talent,” DNSU stated.
The union further expressed gratitude to the teaching community for their selfless devotion, unwavering commitment and passion for empowering the youth.
Meanwhile, the Janata Dal United (JDU) Nagaland has greeted all the teachers on the occasion of Teacher’s Day.
The party has honoured all the teachers for their selflessly devotion in building the future of the society. The JDU Nagaland also congratulated all the teachers who were awarded in recognition of their outstanding contribution.
It further appealed to all the teachers to revere their profession and aptly apply their mind to the care and love of the students.
