NSCN (IM) leader Th Muivah expected to be discharged this week

Dimapur, July 29 (EMN): The General Secretary of NSCN (IM), Thuingaleng Muivah, is likely to be discharged from Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research (CIHSR) in Dimapur this week as he is recovering “fast”.

A doctor at CIHSR told Eastern Mirror that Muivah is still undergoing treatment in the hospital but is recovering very fast.

He said that they are monitoring the 87-year-old NSCN (IM) leader every day and that he could be “released by this week” as he has been in the hospital for almost a week now.

Muivah has been undergoing treatment in CIHSR since he was brought to the facility for a “normal” health check-up on July 24. A doctor at the hospital had said that ‘he was advised hospitalisation for observation as he was a little weak’.
