DIMAPUR — Officials of the Nagaland Pencak Silat Association (NPSA) held a meeting at the residence of the association’s chief patron, Khehovi Yepthomi, former Advisor to the Department of Tourism, on Aug.3.
The meeting deliberated on matters related to the current and upcoming activities and future initiatives of NPSA, an update stated.
The meeting also scheduled the forthcoming Khelo India Pencak Silat Women’s League 2024 and 7th North East Pencak Silat Championship for the following year, both of which will be held in Dimapur.
“These events will be organised by the Nagaland Pencak Silat Association and are intended to promote and advance the growth of Pencak Silat in the state under the auspices of the Indian Pencak Silat Federation,” the association said.
The association also announced H Khehovi Yepthomi’s appointment as the chief patron of North East Pencak Silat Federation during the recently concluded 6th North East Pencak Silat Championship 2024 held at Sarusajai Indoor Stadium, Guwahati, Assam.
