DIMAPUR — Football league matches of this year’s Nagaland Police Duty-cum-Sports Meet started on Monday with 12 teams contesting in six games.
An update from the organisers informed that DEF Tuensang defeated IGP (INT) team 2-0; DEF Mokokchung defeated 14 NAP (IR) Bn. 2-1; 6 NAP Bn. defeated 12 NAP (IR) Bn. 6-0; DEF Wokha defeated CP Dimapur team 4-2; 1 NAP Bn. defeated 4 NAP Bn. 2-1; and DEF Mon defeated 2 NAP Bn. 3-1.
Held biennially, this year’s event is the 40th edition of Nagaland Police Duty-cum-Sports Meet.
