DIMAPUR — The NPF Central Youth Wing has condemned the vandalism of the ANTA HQs office in Kohima by unknown miscreants on June 17. “The Central Youth Wing particularly expressed its strong dismay over the life threatening of the ANTA General Secretary, Meyieho Hibo, who is also the Secretary of the Central Youth Wing. His life was threatened at gun point by the miscreants causing him mental trauma and created fear psychosis,” the youth wing stated in a condemnation note. The youth wing urged the law enforcing agencies to immediately book the culprits and initiate action as per the law of the land.

In a separate press release, the Chakhesang Commercial Drivers’ Union Kohima (CCDUK) has also condemned the attack and vandalism of ANTA office and “putting the life of one of the office bearers in danger.”

The union stated that the life threat on the ANTA office bearer was a clear act of cowardice and unacceptable, which needs to be seriously dealt with as per the law.

“We firmly believe that attack on one of our member is an attack to all of us. We will not allow those who seek to exploit and prey on the hard work of others specially the taxi drivers who lives hand to mouth,” it stated.
