NPF organises political conference at Senapati

Dimapur, Dec. 17 (EMN): Naga People’s Front (NPF) central youth wing working president, Süpoyi Vezhü on Friday said that the NPF party shall work for any possible Indo-Naga political solution and for unity of the people by integrating all contiguous Naga-inhabited areas under one administrative roof.

Speaking at one-day political conference-cum-interaction with intending candidate at Ecological Park, Mayangkhang in Senapati district of Manipur state, he said that the NPF stands for all the tribals, both for the people of hill and plain areas alike.

The programme was organised by NPF Senapati Division.

“Peace came to Manipur after NPF enters into Manipur. Once upon a time Manipur was known for bandhs and protest. However, after NPF enters into Manipur Legislative Assembly, things are now changed for better,” Vezhü said.

He said the slogan of the NPF Party is “Peace for development and development for peace” and the party works in accordance with this slogan. He stated that NPF is the binding party for the Nagas and the Nagas with other communities.

From the very inception, NPF works for peace and it shall continue to do, he added.
