Dimapur, Feb. 26 (EMN): Mokokchung division of the Naga People’s Front (NPF) has resolved to stand firm and uphold the party principles and to prepare for the upcoming state legislative assembly election in the state.
The resolution to this effect was taken during its general meeting held on February 25 in the party office in Mokokchung town under the chairmanship of its general secretary (administration), Tangit Imsong.
NPF Mokokchung division has appreciated the tall leadership of Imkong L Imchen, in-charge of NPF Mokokchung division and also congratulated TR Zeliang on being appointed as the UDA chairman. It thanked the chief minister for inducting YM Yollow as cabinet minister and also wished him success in his the new assignment.
NPF Mokokchung division has also supported the decision of the NPF working committee headed by its party president, Dr. Shurhozelie Lizietsü, for inviting all regional forces to unite.
The division president, Moasangba Jamir, while welcoming the NPF party workers from the 10 assembly constituencies of Mokokchung district, encouraged them to strengthen and get ready for the next Nagaland legislative assembly general election.
The president of Farmers’ Wing from NPF central, Lanukaba, encouraged the party workers to sincerely work for the party according to the political scenario and situation.
An update from media call stated that the meeting also reviewed the party set up at in the grassroots. All the office bearers from 10 assembly constituency attended the general meeting.
