Mokokchung division of the Naga People’s Front (NPF) has expressed gratitude to its three candidates namely Moasangba Jamir, Major Toshikaba and Imjongwati of 25, 28 and 29 Assembly Constituencies (AC), who have fought in the 14th NLA elections from the party ticket and proven themselves worthy candidates to their opponents.
“Although, we could not achieve the people’s mandate, we have not lost hope and shall prepare ourselves for a better performance in the near future,” stated the division vice president, R Limakumzuk Pongen, the general secretary (Admn), Tangit Imsong.
The division has also thanked the electorates for reposing their faith on the party’s candidates and voting for them. While conceding the defeat, it however, stated that it has not lost the dynamism and leadership of the NPF candidates.
The division further thanked I Imkong, advisor to the NPF president (Political), who helped the Mokokchung division in all ways possible during the elections. It has wished him good health and a long life.
Meanwhile, the division congratulated Kuzholuzo Nienu and the party secretary general, Achumbemo, on their success. Dimapur, March 3 (EMN)
