NPF grateful to CM, cabinet colleagues for new Meluri district
DIMAPUR — The Naga People’s Front (NPF) has expressed gratitude and appreciation to Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio, and his cabinet colleagues for giving recognition to Meluri district.
In a press release, central NPF press bureau said the decision for creation of Meluri district reflects a significant milestone in the journey of the Pochury people and stands as proof of the visionary leadership that upholds the aspirations and identity of the people.
The party also conveyed appreciation to advisor of NRE and NSDMA, Z Nyusietho Nyuthe, who also represents 20-Meluri assembly constituency, for working consistently for his people and to achieve ‘this milestone.’
“Today, the Pochury community would be celebrating the historic achievement, embracing the spirit of unity and faith in a brighter future. The dedication and perseverance of the community leaders and supporters have brought about this long-awaited day and the entire NPF family rejoices alongside all our Pochury brothers and sisters,” the NPF party stated.
Further, the party also lauded the ‘magnanimity’ of the Chakhesang community under the guardianship of Chakhhesang Public Organisation for its steadfast support and advocacy to the aspirations of the Pochury people.
“As the Pochury mark this red-letter day, the NPF acknowledges the commitment of all involved in realising this goal and pray that this new chapter for Meluri district usher in prosperity, growth, and lasting peace to its people,” the party added.
