NPF Dimapur division holds meeting to celebrate foundation day

DIMAPUR — The Naga Peoples Front (NPF) Dimapur organised a joint coordination meeting with NPF officials at the Dimapur division office to commemorate the 62nd foundation day of the party.

Division presidents and secretaries, office bearers from the minority wing, youth wing, farmers wing, women’s wing, and officials from the Dimapur division office were present at the programme, stated a press release.

Pusazo Luruo, working president of NPF central, Blaise Iheilung, vice president, central, I Nungsang Jamir, general secretary, central, and Bishnu Bhattacharjee, president of minority wing, central, were present at the programme and delivered short speeches on the sacrifices and contributions of party leaders since inception in different capacities.

They appealed to all members to participate in every activity and programme at the assembly constituency level to strengthen the party.

Speakers mentioned that NPF is a deeply rooted political party that has contributed at the grassroots level, from village level to town areas in Nagaland, Manipur, and Arunachal Pradesh.

Recently appointed NPF Dimapur division president Rhonthungo also took a pledge in front of the gathering. The oath-taking ceremony for the division president was administered by Pusazo Luruo, working president of NPF central.

Rhonthungo expressed his commitment to strengthening the Dimapur division from the grassroots level to its highest level.
