Dimapur, Nov. 15 (EMN): A community organisation in Tuensang has alleged that a grenade was hurled into the residence of a person in Tuensang on Nov. 7. According to updates from the Tuensang Village Citizens’ Union (TVCU), the explosive targeted the residence of one Aliba Sangtam.
The TVCU strongly denounced the incident, which reportedly took place on the night of stated date. The grenade was hurled at the residence of Aliba Sangtam located at NST colony in Tuensang, the union stated.
A press release issued by the president of the TVCU, N Kaimang Chang, termed the act ‘inhuman and intolerable’ for any civilized society. The union has requested the law enforcement and authorities to investigate the matter and capture the perpetrators at the earliest.
