Not in a hurry to discharge Th Muivah from hospital, says doctor

Dimapur, July 26 (EMN): General Secretary of NSCN (IM), Thuingaleng Muivah, who was admitted to Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research (CIHSR) in Dimapur on Saturday, is still under observation though his health is said to be stable.

A doctor at the hospital informed this newspaper that the 87-year-old NSCN (IM) leader is still in the hospital and is “doing good”.

The source informed that it is too early to say on when he will be discharged from the hospital, adding that “we will not be in a hurry to discharge him; it will take some more time”.

Muivah has been undergoing treatment at the CIHSR since he was brought to the facility for a “normal” health check-up July 24. A doctor at the hospital had said that “he was advised admission under observation” as he was a little weak.
