Northeast Olympics Games 2022: AYO lauds ‘Best Male Athlete’ awardee Neiketoulie Belho

Dimapur, Nov. 16 (EMN): The Angami Youth Organisation (AYO) has congratulated Neiketoulie Belho of Kohima district for being awarded the “Best Male Athlete” at the ongoing Northeast Olympics, 2022 at Shillong, Meghalaya.

“AYO lauds the stupendous achievement of Mr. Belho who won three gold medals. He bagged gold in Long Jump, 100 mtrs and 4X100 mtr relay.

“This is a rare achievement by a Naga athlete. And therefore, the AYO lauds the dedication and commitment of Neiketoulie Belho, who has brought laurels to the state through his achievements. We wish the best for him and may he continue to reach greater heights, while it is our prayer that he continues to inspire many more sportspersons in the days to come,”AYO stated in a statement on WEdnesday.

AYO congratulated the other Naga athletes who have won medals in their respective sports disciplines. It also congratulated the entire contingent and management of the Nagaland Olympics Association and the various sports associations for leading from the front and for performing exceedingly well at the Northeast Olympics.
