Dimapur, Oct. 30 (EMN): Sumi region of the NNC/FGN has appreciated the wisdom of the Working Committee of NNPG in signing ‘agreed position’ on November 17, 2017, with the government of India.
It has unanimously resolved to continue extending full support to the WC of NNPG in its endeavour to resolve the protracted Indo-Naga political problem and expressed hope that the political settlement would be resolved peacefully soon.
The resolution to this effect was taken during a meeting of all the functionaries, civil and Naga army on October 30 at Dimapur.
Meanwhile, the unit also lauded the able leadership of Brig. (Retd) S Singnya, FGN kedahge, for leading the NNC/FGN with experience and wisdom and upholding the ardent desire and aspirations of the Naga people.
