DIMAPUR — Taking a leaf from the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) in promoting Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education in Nagaland, the NITI Dimapur organised felicitation programme for 57-STEM teachers of four schools – Livingstone Foundation International, Pranab Vidyapith Hr. Sec. School, Ram Janaki Hr. Sec. School and SD Jain Hr. Sec. School, at its Marwari Patti centre on September 4.
Speaking on the occasion as chief guest, Marwari Samaj president Om Prakash Sethi congratulated NITI managing director and faculty for their dedicated services for the youth of Nagaland through various educational activities for the past 25 years.
He also appreciated the STEM teachers of the four schools for their contribution in the formative years of the youth of Nagaland.

NITI CEO, Rishav Sethi stressed on the need of STEM education in Nagaland in the age of artificial intelligence, wherein he highlighted his own practical application recently developed for the Department of Youth Resources and Sports, besides others.
Guest faculties of the four schools expressed their gratitude to NITI family for the honour bestowed on them and shared their willingness to assist the team in any which way in the near future.
Md. Salim, mathematics faculty, spoke on the relevance of STEM education, and Lomika Chishi, NITI computer faculty, anchored the programme.
Earlier, managing director of NITI, Ajay Sethi delivered the welcome address.
