Nikali Shohe is Miss Sümi 2024
Nikali Shohe was crowned Miss Sümi during an event held at IMC Hall on Oct. 26.
An update issued on Monday informed that the event was organised by the Sümi Totimi Hoho and celebrated the achievements of the Sümi community.
Suruhukali Aomi and Alo A Yeptho were crowned first and second runner-up respectively.
Sub title winners include: Vinika P. Kiba received the Miss Talented award, Alo A Yeptho won Miss Multimedia, Aloka Julita Kasho was awarded Best Ramp Walk, and Livino Awomi earned Miss Congeniality.
The President of the Sümi Totimi Hoho, Vitoli Rochill, said ‘Miss Sümi embodies more than personal achievement; she is an inspiration for aspiring beauty queens, embodying dedication, perseverance, and the values of empowerment and purpose’.
The event’s chief guest, Hukheto Yeptho, Chairman of Dimapur Municipal Council, expressed his pleasure in witnessing talented women from the Sümi community coming together with a shared vision of ‘Stepping forward with grit’.
The judges for the pageant were Ani Yepthomi, Director Livingstone Foundation International School and College; Dr. (hc) Vikali Zhimomi President CWO NDPP; Lika Chophy Miss Sümi and Miss Nagaland first runner-up 2021; Keren Sümi, Soft Skill and Communication expert; and Khekiho Shohe, Deputy Director Element World Bank.
The event also featured performances by artistes including DJ Sanaa, Kito Swu, and Lorka Yeptho.
