Is Nelena making a comeback?! Nick Jonas dropped amazing new track ‘Area Code’ on Sept. 5, and he totally seems to reference his relationship with his ex, Selena Gomez! Nick Jonas, 22, and Selena Gomez, 23, may have ended their relationship years ago, but does the “Jealous” singer still have her on his mind? After Nick dropped his sexy new song “Area Code” on Sept. 5, many fans have pointed out that he appears to give a shoutout to his gorgeous ex by referencing her hot summer hit, “Good For You.” Nick sings: “You say I never been good for you, You can’t deny I gave it good to you.” Um, is this a reference to Selena’s song with A$AP Rocky “Good For You?!” The “good for you” and “good to you” parts sure seem like he’s making it clear that was directed at Selena. If it is a special shoutout to Selly, it sounds like Nick isn’t quite over her! Looks like Justin Bieber, 21, might not be the only ex of Selena’s to give her a hidden musical tribute.Nick has seemingly shut down rumors of rekindling his romance with Selena, but the exes, who dated in 2008 and briefly rekindled their romance in 2010, hung out together at VMAs after party on Aug. 30.
“He was whispering in her ear cause it was so loud with music and people talking in VIP,” an insider at the party told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “She was loving the attention for sure and she talked to her friends about him afterwards.” However, it doesn’t seem like there were too many sparks flying. “His intentions were not romantic at all. They talked very briefly,” our insider added. Well, if Nick really did make a Selena reference in “Area Code” perhaps he still has feelings for Sel and Nelena 2.0 could happen.
