NFR introduces executive cabins at Central Hospital in Maligaon
DIMAPUR — The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) updated that the Central Hospital in Maligaon received executive cabins on August 15. It said the railways has invested immensely in modernising healthcare facilities with advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
The update said that the Central Hospital in Maligaon reaffirmed its commitment to exceptional healthcare services with its recent efforts in aiding the recovery of a major burn victim, who benefitted a special ICU facility conceived and developed by the NFR.
Dr. P. Maheswari and Dr. B.P. Deka of the hospital also handed over a Samsung tablet worth INR 35,000, along with other gifts, to the young patient, it added.
“This achievement is one of many milestones for the hospital, which has undergone significant upgrades with advanced diagnostic tools and equipment, particularly in OTs, CSSD, MGPS, and ICUs (Intensive Care Units). Specialised services in cardiology, pediatrics, nephrology, and oncology have been introduced, reducing the need for patients to seek care outside the region,” read the update.
