DEO Mon notifies on special drive

Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer (DEO), Mon, W Honje Konyak has notified that the Election Commission of India has extended the period for filing claims and objections to Nov. 30, for maximisation of registration, improving the fidelity of electoral rolls, and to provide better electoral services. A special drive of house to house visit by Booth Level Officers shall be conducted from Nov. 15 to 30th.

National achievement survey for govt. schools

The Principal Director Smita Sarangi has informed that the Department of School Education and SCERT will be conducting the National Achievement Survey for government schools of standard III, V and Vlll on Nov. 13. For this one day survey in schools, she also informed that the department will be required the involvement of teachers serving in private schools to act as field investigators.
Therefore, all govt. schools have been requested to disseminate information from their end to extend support and cooperation as and when approached.

Kenye to grace GHS Chetheba 42nd anniversary

MP (Rajya Sabha) and Secretary General NPF KG Kenye will be gracing the 42nd Anniversary of the Government High School Chetheba under Phek district as chief guest on Nov. 8, 10 a.m. at local ground Chetheba. The event will be observed under the theme “Strengthen the root of education.” MLA Dr. Chotisuh Sazo will be the guest of honour for the programme. A school souvenir and a monolith will be unveiled at the school premises to mark the occasion.

Alder College to celebrate silver jubilee

NPF president convenes CEC meet

The Naga People’s Front President Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu has convened the traditional Central Executive Council (CEC) meeting on Nov. 21, 4 p.m. at the Central office Hq, Kohima. All the concerned members have been directed to attend the meeting positively.

NSMEA general session

The Nagaland State MGNREGA Employees Association (NSMEA) will be holding the a 2nd session of general meeting on Nov. 8, 10 a.m. at Ura Academy Hall, Mission Compound, Kohima. All the employees under this programme are directed to attend the meeting positively.

ENCSU emergency meeting

The Eastern Nagaland College Students’ Union (ENCSU) has convened an emergency meeting on Nov. 7, 2:30 at DUDA Guest House, Kohima. Presidents and general secretaries of Eastern Naga College Students Union from Kohima units have been directed to attend the meeting. The ENCSU also informed that failing to attain the meeting will be dealt strictly. RBKKA convenes meeting

Rengma Basti Khatkhati Karbi Anglong (RBKKA) has convened a meeting on November 11, 10 a.m. at the village premises. All the block holders are requested to attend the meeting without fail.
