Speaker convenes consultative meet

NLA Speaker Dr. Imtiwapang Aier has convened a consultative meet of past and present lawmakers on December 7 at Regional Centre of Excellence in Music and Performing Arts (RCEMPA), Jotsoma, at 11 am. The Speaker has invited all the members of Nagaland Legislative Assembly, members of Parliament and all former legislators and parliamentarians.

NPCC convenes meet

Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has convened its executive meeting on December 11 at NPCC conference hall, Kohima, at 11 a.m. The Committee secretary (Admn), Moa Emchen has all the executive members to attend the proposed meeting positively.

JYO to hold wrestling meet

Jotsoma Youth Organisation (JYO) has announced to organise the 57th Jotsoma village wrestling meet on December 8 and 9 at Jotsoma local ground. MLA Kuzholuzo Nienu would grace the occasion as the chief guest and Beizo Suokhrie, DFO Longleng, as the guest of honour. The organisation president Khrietuo Peseyie and the information secretary Rokotuolie Nakhro have invited all the Jotsoma villagers and well wishers to come and witness the wrestling meet.

DNC organisers notify

Organisers of the Dimapur Night Carnival (DNC) has notified that the names of the selected stall owners have been listed and pasted at AKKI INFRA- TECH & LOGISTICS, Hotel Trinity Building, opposite Hotel Cedar, Near Police Commissioner Office. All concerned are asked to call on phone no. 03862-230962 further information. All selected applicants are asked to get the stall permit between 10 am – 3 pm on December 7, 8, and 9.

KVK Kohima holds awareness prog.

Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Kohima, has organised a one-day awareness programme cum World Soil Health Day on December 5 at KVK conference hall. The programme was organised to create awareness about the importance of soil testing, soil health cards and its benefits. The programme was attended by farmers, farm women, village council members, SHG members, and farmers club members from neighbouring villages including Upper Tesophenyu village, Lorin village, Zisunyu village, Ziphenyu village. The highlights of the programmes included distribution of soil health card, demonstration of soil testing facilities available at KVK, Kohima, distribution of seedlings, and scientist-farmers interaction.
