DIMAPUR – With the intention to solve the problems being faced by the film fraternity in Nagaland, Nagaflix OTT app and Nagaflix TV app, a platform to watch movies, was launched on Thursday by Theja Meru, chairman of TaFMA at Hotel Saramati, Dimapur.

The app is a trademark registered under King Chillies Entertainment Dimapur Nagaland (KCEDN).

Providing details about the app that can be used both on Android phones and televisions, the director of KCEDN, Aghato K Naga, on the occasion said that the app will not charge any subscription fee, but the users will have to buy tickets to watch movies, and the price of each ticket is INR 499 that provides two hours of watch time.

He mentioned that for now, the app is available only for Android users, but in future, versions for iOS users will also be made available.

The app is KCEDN’s intellectual asset and if the filmmakers in Nagaland do not have a platform to launch their movies, they can always approach it, he said.

Launching the app, Meru appreciated and commended Naga for his initiatives and assured that TaFMA and KCEDN will continue to partner to create more avenues for the filmmakers in Nagaland. He also encouraged others to approach TaFMA to engage in discussions regarding the advancement of the film industry in the state.
