Neiba Kronu assures market linkages to the farming community
Dimapur, April 6 (EMN): Minister for Planning and Coordination, Land Revenue and Parliamentary Affairs Neiba Kronu on Tuesday lauded the Zapami community for their ‘diligence, hard work and sincere outlook’ during the 25th anniversary celebrations of Zapami Welfare Society Kohima (ZWSK).
The 25th anniversary celebrations was celebrated at Para Medical Colony in Kohima on April 6. An update stated that the minister expressed happiness to the Zapami community for preservation the rich culture and traditions through setting up of museum at Zapami village. Stressing on the need to involve in agricultural activities, he assured the farming community that market linkages would be taken care by the government wherever possible.
Kronu also inaugurated the ZWSK building.
Chakhesang Public Organisation president Mikha Kenye and Zapami Village Council chairman Zewekha Wetsah also spoke on the occasion.
ZWSK building committee convenor Lhiwepe Khutso and ZWSK general secretary Wepre Wetsah presented their respective reports.
