NECDC women T20 tourney: Meghalaya, Nagaland to clash in semi-final

KOHIMA — The first NECDC Senior Women Interstate Friendship T20 Tournament, hosted by the Meghalaya Cricket Association, will have its semi-finals at the Nongkhrah Cricket Ground, Nongkhrah, on October 3.

Meghalaya will face Nagaland in the first semi-final, while Sikkim will take on Manipur in the second semi-final. As per an update, the first semi-final is scheduled for 9 am, followed by the second semi-final at 12:30 pm.

The winner of the first semi-final will compete against the winner of the second semi-final in the championship match, scheduled for October 5 at 10 am.

Ahead of the semi-finals, the tournament points table for Group A shows Meghalaya at the top with 6 points (NRR: 0.425), followed by Manipur with 4 points (NRR: -0.263), and Arunachal Pradesh with 2 points (NRR: -0.160).

Meanwhile, in Group B, Sikkim leads with 8 points (NRR: 0.479), followed by Nagaland with 4 points (NRR: 0.758), while Mizoram remains at the bottom with 0 points (NRR: -1.044).
