Dimapur, Oct. 26 (EMN): Batting for an outcome oriented approach to village development, former minister and vice president of Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) Dr. Chumben Murry, said the “State has sufficient resources for development of rural villages” adding the desire results can be achieved only through good leadership, peoples participation and good governance.
Dr. Chumben said this in his address to Wokha unit party workers during a consultative meeting at Santsuphen particularly for Longsa village on October 21 at 1 PM.
Dr. Chumben also applauded Longsa village for their unceasing support and dedication and further encouraged them to remain loyal and combat worthy.
A total number of 470 members attended the meeting. The programme was chaired by Etsorhomo Ezung, president Wokha unit, while the invocation was said by Konchio Ezung, and short speeches were delivered by CC Ezung, Yibomo Humtso, Yankhosao Lotha (Head GB), Sanu- president women wing, Yanphamo Tungoe, chairman of Wokha village council.
