Putting all speculations to rest, the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) has announced that it will issue party tickets for the upcoming Nagaland Assembly election.

The general election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly will be held on February 27 before counting the votes on March 2.

In a notice, NDPP President Chingwang Konyak announced that the party will organise “Ticket Ceremony Cum Campaign Launch” programme at 11 am on Thursday, February 3, in the Capital Cultural Hall, Kohima.

In this regard, all the candidates who have been allocated the party ticket have been asked to reach the venue at 10 am sharp for a briefing.

It further informed that only 50 supporters of each candidate shall be provided seating inside the auditorium due to limited seating capacity.

In another notice, general secretary (ADM) of the party Obed Quinker has invited all the CEB members, central frontal organisations, central committees, region presidents, region youth presidents, region women presidents, region agri and allied presidents, and 40 assembly constituencies presidents to attend the programme.
