Dimapur, June 17 (EMN): NDPP Kohima region is organising an inter-assembly constituency (A/C) football tournament at IG Stadium, Kohima on June 24.
A press release informed that the teams include – CM XI Team (including all MLAs and central party workers), Kohima region team, 8th Western Angami A/C, 9th Kohima town A/C, 10th Northern Angami – I A/C, 11th Northern Angami – II A/C, 14th Southern Angami – I A/C and 15th Southern Angmai – II A/C.
Meanwhile on Friday, the CM XI team played a friendly match with Nagaland girl’s team, who will be participating in the forthcoming national game at Guwahati on June 22.
Advisor for Youth Resources and Sports, Zale Neikha, interacted with the Nagaland girl’s team before the friendly match started and encouraged the young girls to give their best in the forthcoming national tournament.
Citing the example of Nagaland girl’s team playing with an international girl’s team in 2019 at Sweden, he said that Naga girls have the ability and potential to play well and advised them to have more understanding with team spirit, to give their full force and wished them good luck.
