NDPP candidate launches campaign for KMC ward 6
KOHIMA — Thenusou Sekhose Yhome, the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) candidate for ward 6 (D Block colony) for the Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) elections, launched her campaign on Saturday in Kohima.
In her speech, Yhome outlined her vision for the community, aiming to transform her ward into a model ward. She highlighted her plans to improve residents’ safety, boost youth employment and skills training, enhance education, and promote entrepreneurship.
Addressing the residents’ concerns, she mentioned issues like water supply, drainage, and sanitation. Yhome assured the attendees that she would address these issues and work towards improving the colony in collaboration with the community.
Zhaleo Rio, Advisor for Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, Kekhrienuo Mor, women president of the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP), Kohima region, and others also spoke during the event.
