NCSU reaches out to children of Tabitha Enabling Centre

DIMAPUR — To mark the 78th India’s Independence Day celebration, a team of Nagaland Contractors and Suppliers’ Union (NCSU) led by its president, Pele Khezhie, visited Tabitha Enabling Centre at Sepfuzou Colony in Kohima on Wednesday.

An update from the union stated that the team reached out to the students and faculty with essential commodities. It informed that the centre is home to 35 disabled students, run in partnership with Asanuo Seb and Vekutilu Vese Ngone, both graduates from Oriental Theological Seminary.

The centre is a non profitable organisation, which is purely functioning on charity for children with disability.

The proprietors shared their vision about disabilities and how to bring them up to connect with mainstream as they too are human beings. The centre is sustained on charity without depending on sponsors from government agencies.

Meanwhile, the union called upon all the well-wishers, individuals, groups to extend helping hand for the uplift of disabled children.
