DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Centre for Human Development and Information Technology (NCHD&IT), a nonprofit organisation, in its efforts to enhance the learning experience among primary students, has set up three libraries in Dimapur.

The libraries have been set up at Sangtamtilla Government Middle School, Senjum Government Primary School, and Ghokito Government Primary School, according to a press release.

They were set up with the intention of providing a joyful and engaging learning environment in which young learners can access a variety of educational resources.

The release mentioned that the libraries provide a wide range of age 5 to 15 years appropriate books, engaging educational games, and learning materials, catering to the students’ diverse interests and abilities.

NCHD&IT has also incorporated elements of play-based learning as well as innovative and creative teaching methods to make learning enjoyable and engaging. It expressed gratitude for ongoing support and collaboration with government institutions and encouraged the community to support the initiative by volunteering, donating books or materials, or raising awareness about the importance of accessible education for all.
