The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) on Friday sought to know best learning experience and practices that registered schools in the State had adopted during the Covid-induced lockdown so that such innovative techniques could be used by other educational institutions.

The chairman of NBSE, Asano Sekhose, stated in the notification that schools had gone all out to provide education to its students in one way or the other in spite of many challenges and hurdles in the midst of the unprecedented situations.

It maintained the NBSE is appreciative of the fact that many schools had pooled in their resources, be it infrastructure, human or technology to ensure that learning continues in this trying time. It added that “a good number of schools have succeeded in their effort and going ahead with the best they can do”.

The Board sought to know best practices from schools so that it can be shared with other educational institutions and the government as well as the Union Ministry of Education.

All the schools registered with the NBSE have been asked to furnish or submit a write up about the best innovative practices adopted by the school to engage and connect with their students in order to make learning happen during this Covid times, to nbsenag@gmail.com within June 20.

‘Photographs, videos of the lessons etc., which can be considered as meaningful or best practices can be shared with the Board. The innovative practices will go a long way to help the other school to take a similar approach,’ read the notification.

Further it asked the schools to note that the best practices adopted will have to be submitted at different intervals and that at other times, the schools will have submit the documents or videos in the same email address quarterly during the 2021 academic session.
