NBSE announces phase II exam dates for classes 8, 9

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has notified all concerned about the phase II Class 8 and Class 9 examinations 2024.

According to a DIPR report, phase II of the Class 8 examination will be held from 9:30 am to 11:00 am on the following dates:

November 26: English

November 28: Science

November 30: Social Sciences

December 2: Grammar

December 5: Mathematics

December 7: Hindi

It mentioned that the schools shall internally conduct the examination for the Nagaland Heritage Studies (English and Local Dialect), Life Skill Education, and General Knowledge.

All private schools registered with the NBSE shall conduct phase II of the Class 8 examination 2024 according to the above schedule and all registered schools should adhere to the timing specified in the routine.

The marks/results of phase I and phase II shall be consolidated and submitted to the board through the portal by December 18.

The phase II of the Class 9 examination will be held from 9:30 am to 11:00 am on the following dates:

November 26: Social Sciences

November 28: English

November 30: Second Language (Tenyidie/Ao/Sumi (Sütsah)/Lotha/Hindi/Bengali/Alternative English)

December 2: Science

December 6: Mathematics

December 9: Sixth subjects (FIT/Music/BK and Accountancy); Vocational subjects (ITeS/Retail/Tourism and Hospitality/Beauty and Wellness/Electronics/Multi-Skill Foundation Course/Agriculture/Automotive/Plumbing) (9:30 am to 10:30 am)

It was mentioned that the examination routine shall not be altered in the event of any unexpected holiday. However, in case of cancellation or postponement of the examination dates, the board shall notify the candidates through the media.
