Nagaland to experience moderate to heavy rainfall till July 31
DIMAPUR— Most districts in Nagaland are likely to experience moderate to heavy rainfall till July 31, according to an update from the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday.
As per the update, on July 28, Peren, Kohima and Kiphire districts are likely to experience heavy rainfall with thunderstorm and lightning; Dimapur, Phek and Longleng districts will likely experience thunderstorm and lightning, and Mon district likely to experience heavy rainfall.
On July 29, Tuensang district is likely to experience heavy rainfall; Mokokchung, Wokha, Dimapur and Mon districts are likely to experience thunderstorm and lightning; and Phek district may receive heavy rainfall with thunderstorm and lightning.
On July 30, Mokokchung, Kiphire, Kohima, Peren and Mon districts are likely to experience heavy rainfall.
On July 31, Mokokchung, Zunheboto and Peren districts are likely to receive heavy rainfall, said the IMD update.
