Nagaland: State Election Commission cancels ULB election

Dimapur: The State Election Commission on Thursday cancelled the “election programme” for conducting the Urban Local Bodies election to three Municipal Councils and 36 town councils till further orders.

The notification comes after the Nagaland Municipal Act 2001 was repealed in toto during the recently held 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly.
