Nagaland reports one new COVID case, 3 recoveries

Dimapur, Sep. 10 (EMN): The number of active COVID-19 cases in Nagaland declined to six with three new COVID-19 recoveries reported on Saturday.

According to the update from the department of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of COVID cases in the state stands at 35,933 with one new COVID case reported in Dimapur.

With the recovery of the three patients in Dimapur, the state’s cumulative recoveries have increased to 33,634.

Meanwhile, the death toll from the pandemic stands at 775 with one death reported during the last 24 hours.

Out of the six active cases, five are asymptomatic and one in ICU.

In terms of district-wise distribution of active cases, Dimapur has three cases, two in Longleng and one in Mokokchung, while the remaining districts are currently COVID-free.
