Nagaland reports 79 fresh Covid-19 cases, 1 death

Dimapur, Feb. 4 (EMN): A total of 79 fresh Covid-19 cases were reported in Nagaland on Friday, taking the number of cases in the state 34,759 so far while the active caseload declined to 787 with recuperation of 93 more patients.
The state’s cumulative recoveries has increased to 31,798 following the recovery of 71 patients in Dimapur, 12 in Kohima, three each in Mokokchung and Kiphire and two each in Peren and Mon in the last 24 hours.
Meamwhile, the death toll from the pandemic increased to 733 with one fresh fatality reported on Friday.
According to an update from the department of Health and Family Welfare, 58 positive cases were reported in Dimapur, 15 in Kohima, two each in Mokokchung and Wokha and one each in Peren and Mon.
Out of 787 active cases in the state, 615 are asymptomatic, 154 mild, 11 moderate on oxygen, one in ICU and six in ICU on ventilator
In terms of distribution of active cases, Dimapur has 573 infections, 128 in Kohima, 31 in Tuensang, 17 in Mokokchung, 11 in Wokha, seven in Peren, six in Phek, five in Mon, four each in Zunheboto and Longleng, and one in Kiphire.
