Dimapur, Sep. 7 (EMN): The number of active COVID-19 cases in Nagaland decreased to 15 with five new COVID-19 recoveries reported on Wednesday.
According to the update from the department of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of COVID cases in the state stands at 35,930.
With the recovery of the two patients each in Mokokchung and Kohima , and one in Dimapur, , the state’s cumulative recoveries have increased to 33,624.
Meanwhile, the death toll from the pandemic stands at 774.
Out of the 15 active cases, nine are asymptomatic, five mild and one severe on oxygen.
In terms of district-wise distribution of active cases, Dimapur has eight cases, two each in Mon and Longleng and one each in Wokha, Mokokchung and Kohima while the remaining districts are currently COVID-free.
