Nagaland reports 3 new Covid cases, one death

Dimapur, March 1 (EMN): Nagaland recorded three fresh Covid-19 positive cases on Tuesday, taking the tally to 35,410 and active caseload to 93.
The state’s cumulative recoveries also increased to 33,082 with the recovery of 17 more patients in the last 24 hours.
The death toll increased to 752 with one fresh death reported on Tuesday.
According to data from the department of Health and Family Welfare, one positive case each were reported in Dimapur, Kohima and Mokokchung.
Meanwhile, 11 recoveries were reported in Dimapur, one each in Kohima, Mokokchung and Phek and three in Tuensang.
Out of 93 active cases in the state, 79 are asymptomatic, 11 mild, one moderate on oxygen and three on ICU ventilator.
In terms of distribution of active cases, Dimapur has 63 infections, 17 in Kohima, , five in Peren, three in Mokokchung, two each in Tuensang and Mon and one each in Longleng and Wokha, while Zunheboto, Phek and Kiphire are currently Covid-19 free.
6,915 new Covid cases in India
India saw a single-day rise of 6,915 coronavirus infections, taking the country’s tally of cases to 4,29,31,045, according to data from the Union Health Ministry.
The active cases have declined to 92,472, with the recovery of 16,864 patients in the last 24 hours.
The death toll climbed to 5,14,023 with 180 new fatalities reported in 24 hours.
With the administration of more than 18 lakh (18,22,513) vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 177.70 crore (1,77,70,25,914).
