Dimapur, Feb. 17 (EMN): Nagaland on Thursday reported 22 fresh Covid-19 cases, taking the state’s tally of cases to 35, 328 and active cases to 347.
According to data from the department of Health and Family Welfare, Dimapur reported nine cases, four each in Kohima and Phek, two each in Mokokchung and Tuensang, and one in Wokha.
The death toll remained unchanged at 749 with no new deaths in the last 24 hours.
The number of recoveries also increased to 32752 with 41 patients recovering during the same period.
The data stated that 28 recoveries were reported in Dimapur, 10 in Kohima, two in Wokha and one in Tuensang.
Out of the 347 active cases, 254 are asymptomatic, 87 mild, three moderate on oxygen, one in ICU and two in ICU on ventilator.
541 fatalities in India
India reported 30,757 new coronavirus infections on Thursday, taking the tally of Covid cases to 4,27,54,315, according to data from the Union Health Ministry.
The death toll climbed to 5,10,413 with 541 more fatalities, the data stated.
The active cases declined to 3,32,918, with the recovery of 67,538 patients in the last 24 hours.
With the administration of more than 34.75 lakh (34,75,951) vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage exceeded 174.24 crore (1,74,24,36,288).
